Room With A View cc, was formed by Stephen Makhwathana in 1989 and was registered with the registrar of company close corporation in 1995.

Mr Stephen Makhwathana, is the managing member and 100% shareholder.

He has attended a number of seminar basic courses and lectures on managing and pricing, including courses offered by Entrepreneurial Development South Africa (EDSA).

Mr Stephen Makhwathana has worked both as a employee and as a labour only sub-contractor for the following companies:

We would like to make use of this opportunity to introduce our company to you as a labour only roofing, ceiling, partitioning and finishing carpentry company. We also specialise in building loft rooms as a labour only and material supplier.

The company was established due to the economic uncertainty and unsuitable work conditions, faced by workers in the building industry at that time.

The company was started with three employees assisting Steve and his father in a number of small labour only loft room projects. The continued participation of the company in small to large projects as a labour only contractor necessitated the firm to employ more skilled and unskilled labourers. That enabled the proprietor to gain valuable experience, to such an extent that the firm is competing favourably with other loft room companies in the field.
